Chapter 3 -- Saturday night

Matt crashed immediately Saturday night -- he was just too tired for anything. That wasn't out of the ordinary even if we hadn't been swimming and hiking all day. Two steps from the cooler I heard it. Light moans coming from a low voice and wet sounds. I froze and looked around the campsite.

Roger had moved his chair back a few feet away from the fire, further from the light. He sat in the chair, leaned back, his legs falling to either side.
